Like most people who originated from Africa, we are proud of our heritage and stand up for it, but we know fundamentally there is something wrong, an underlining opposition that seem to hold the continent back. This podcast offers Africans from all walks of life the opportunity to share their thoughts

The Story Behind Mindset Africa
A young 17 year old ask for money in a busy shopping centre once. I know it would be the beginning of issues for him if at 17 he was lingering around malls asking for money. My heart sunk, kids in the diaspora not getting the right guidance and mentoring. It brought my attention to why the continent itself was failing. This podcast is my attempt to address and discuss some of the issues Africans face whether self inflicted or not, and to find some lasting solutions, and if we are lucky, we may turn the fortunes of the continent around in the process.

Another day Another coup
Aother day another coup in Africa, this time in Niger. At this stage little is known but the Military is now in charge of the country. Rightly, the world at large have criticised the coup attempt, on the surface its still hard to understand which western country is behind it this time. Maybe there is no agenda against the country, its just another case of naive military over reach. Lets wait and see.

Meet Your Hosts
My name is Jesse and I live in Australia with my family. I was born in Liberia and have lived across the continent of Africa.
Yes living in the diaspora makes you appreciate the family, the warmth and closeness of family, it also makes you question where everything went wrong for the continent. I for one I am keen to do something about it in my own small way, and hopefully, meet like minded people along the way who can help me see things in a different perspective. I like the saying “no one is coming to save you”. There is some truth to it, Africa must save itself.
